800 g yam

Peel the yams, cut it in half lengthwise, and slice them (about
10 cm in
length and breath). Place them in a bowl. Mix the salt and the ginger in water,
and pour it over the sliced yams, and mix it. Let it stand for about 12-15
minutes. Heat the oil and fry them (until golden brown) in batches.
